We will explore yoga postures and techniques that Yin and Yang qualities. Yin postures are held for around five minutes and allow us to sink down deeply, relax, and tone the connective tissues. Yang postures are more dynamic and concerned with stamina and strength. As with all yoga practice the emphasis is on breath awareness and the present moment enabling us to let go and release mental tensions and emotional worries whilst also leaving us feeling physically nourished and recharged. By learning how to balance Yin and Yang postures we gain a greater understanding of how we can create a yoga practice that suits our ever changing, daily needs. Open to all levels.
