But to keep you going, here’s what a snapshot of what some of our lovely Yoga Mamas have to say:
About The Yoga
“I must admit that I tried a local yoga class here in the village last week, but it just wasn’t the same as Yoga Mamas and I missed you!”
Katrina
“I can’t believe how in just a few weeks of practice I can do the sun salutations again – and after baby number 3! The strength I’ve built up, in my tummy and pelvic floor has really helped my pregnancy aches in the pelvis go. I’m even looking forward to starting back to running soon, as I think all the lovely stretches will help me in that too – thanks so much!”

About Pregnancy Yoga
“My weekly yoga classes with Clare were fantastic. It gave me time to bond with my second baby and relax. I loved the fact Clare would tailor the class to everyone’s mood and would recommend postures to alleviate discomfort you happened to be experiencing. As this was my second pregnancy I knew the importance of breathing during labour and Clare really focuses on this. Both the midwives during my subsequent labour commented on how great my breathing was and this enabled me to have a completely natural labour and amazing birth experience for myself and my gorgeous new son Rory.”
Laura & baby Rory
“Incredible, tribal, earthy, amazingly, intensely life changing & joyously wonderful!!! I feel like you and your classes gave me so much strength.”
Ellie & baby Alfred
“Thanks to all the yoga and breathing techniques we worked on for oh so many months the actual birth was totally amazing! I honestly don’t think I would have had such a chilled out amazing experience without all the preparation we did… And I also never thought I’d recount the story to people and use words like ‘amazing’, ‘completely natural’ and ‘instinctive’.”
Lucy & baby Olive
“It was all pretty quick and all went smoothly. Just wanted to says thanks too – you should make a birthing CD, I was listening to you in my head talking me through my contractions (just not practice this time!) and kept remembering to keep my moans and groans low, made a lot more noise this time but it definitely helped.”
Tricia and baby Sophie
“The breathing and visualisation techniques I’d learned in yoga really helped me especially when it came to trying not to push… So all in all an amazing experience. Thank you for all the lovely yoga classes, they really helped me and I’ll really miss those evenings!”
Rebecca Frampton, Brighton
“I really treasure the time I had at yoga – sharing experiences and preparing for the birth. It was a serene time to really feel connected to my baby. It was by far the best preparation for the birth and way of coping physically and emotionally to all of the changes that pregnancy brings. Clare is an amazing teacher to guide you through your pregnancy and I can’t recommend her classes highly enough.”
Rebecca Habba, Brighton
“Having recently attended Clare’s pregnancy yoga I can honestly say it enhanced my experience of pregnancy and allowed me time to bond with my baby-to-be. The breathing exercises not only helped me relax at the time but were also a valuable tool throughout my birthing experience. Clare has a beautiful energy and her classes always left me feeling very calm, centred and generally blissed out!”
Harriet Lawson, Brighton
“Pregnancy yoga is a great way to prepare you mentally and physically for childbirth. I would highly recommend Clare as a teacher: her classes are friendly and welcoming, giving mothers-to-be a safe place to discuss any worries or physical problems they may be experiencing. Exercises and postures are tailored to the needs of the women in the class, and suggestions are made for simple yoga and breathing work that can be practised at home during the week.”

About The Preparing For Birth Workshop
“Definitely recommend this workshop. It’s my first baby so have been relying on info in the baby books, so it was really good to be taken through every step of labour and talk about what is happening to your body – really took the mystery out of things. A small group, so the afternoon is tailored to what you want to get out of it with plenty of opportunities to ask questions and time to practice with your birth partner. The handout from the workshop is already packed in my hospital bag!”
Claire & Tom, baby due…
“Both my husband and I found the Preparing For Birth workshop very useful. We attended the course during my second pregnancy and it was a great reminder of what was to come and also helped greatly in alleviating my anxiety after a difficult and long first labour. I felt the course focuses on all aspects of labour and is very informative about the realities of giving birth.”

About Hypnobirthing:
“Thanks, Maya, for the instruction and support…we had a wonderful water birth…we found the hypnobirthing techniques really helped me to relax and focus…my experience was nothing like the videos! But we were well-prepared…we are happy to report that neither of us felt fear at any point during the birth.”
AZ and ME, Brighton
“After a stressful birth experience with my son in 2009, I made every effort for a peaceful uneventful birth with my second son… Maya was very focussed and passionate about her work and in turn about my story and how I could turn my experience of birth (and motherhood) around. In March 2012 I gave birth as I had hoped, at home, without intervention, without drugs or drama….I made use of the techniques Maya taught me…not a stitch was needed as I never forced or pushed my son out…emotionally, it was as if the trauma from my first birth (which stayed with me for at least a year later) was delivered out of my body with the best birth experience I could have hoped for. Thank you Maya, I am so grateful to you!”

About Sedona:
“The method was quick and simple….I wanted to work on the anxiety associated with having a small baby who had colic for 2 months and to help myself and my family adapt to having a new member. During the session, it was a really odd sensation to have emotions that felt quite entrenched disappear, and leave me with a feeling of contentment…I’ve found that since the session it’s easier to stop myself from getting worked up and angry when looking after the kids, and I am more aware. I have used the technique a few times when everything has felt like it is getting on top of me…I have generally felt a lot calmer and am enjoying my kids a lot more.”
MM, Brighton.
“Having worked on myself for many years, using many different therapies, I recently stumbled across the Sedona Method by pure accident….With life feeling quite stuck and stagnant for a number of years, after having just a few sessions with Maya life has miraculously started moving again and become very unstuck in quite a short space of time and issues that I’ve been struggling with for ages are finally clearing. I really feel life is flowing so much easier now and great changes seems to be falling in my lap! I’ve had amazing and interesting insights along the way too!”
Helen C.
“When I first heard about the Sedona Method I was very intrigued. I had been experiencing high levels of stress, but after just a quick taster of the method with Maya, the stress I was experiencing disappeared. Following my first session, a dust allergy that I’d had for as long as I can remember, seems also to have disappeared… I also feel calmer and clearer; I’m so pleased I embarked on this journey and am looking forward to other changes using the method will bring. It is beautifully simple.”
Beth, Brighton
“I felt such a deep sense of relaxation and beingness…I thought I was a fairly relaxed person generally…but as a result of the session I felt a completely new experience of being.”
